SOME 15 students from Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School, accompanied by three education officers, left Brunei Darussalam on April 20 to participate in a school twinning programme which ends on April 24.
With the aim of promoting long-term friendship with their Singaporean counterparts through network building and strengthening bilateral collaborations, Programme Coordinator, Muhammad Hafizuddin bin Abdullah Tong, highlighted the visit as a good opportunity to experience both cultures and improve communication skills.
The trip also serves to expose students to new learning environments so that the best practices and experiences can be shared by the hosts with their visitors. Singapore has a diverse socio-cultural and economic background.
During the visit, the students will get to visit locations of interest such as Marina Barrage, Newater Plant Marina Park Life, Universal Studios and others.
